There is a schematic on the fan shroud. If not go to a used car lot and find a like car and draw a schematic,
IT IS ON THE FAN SHROUD> If it isn't there draw one before you take the belt off. If the belt is off, go to a used car lot and find a like car and draw a schematic.
There is only 1 way the serpentine belt will go on, there is no alternate way.
need diagram of the sepentine belt and how it go on.
the Serpentine Belt on the 91 Lebaron is on Tension Pulley, you dont tighten it. But if it is loose and you need to tighten it you just go and buy a new belt and put that on.
You have to go to an auto-parts store to buy the serpentine belt. Any auto-parts store can tell you the correct size belt to purchase.
I just replaced the serpentine belt on my 1999 cavalier Z24 today. There is a tention pully that constantly pushes on the belt to keep it tight. There is a bolt head in the middle of this pully. Normally it's 15mm. You'll need an open end wrench to put on the bolt head. Put it on and turn it counter clockwise. You'll feel the entire pully move and you will see your belt loosen. It's not a good idea to let go of the pully. Try to keep pressure on it till you get the new belt in place. Like I said I have a 99 Cavy there may be some differences but it should go about the same for you.
Go to autozone.com, select your make/model and they offer online service manuals. In there, you will find diagrams for serpentine belt routing.
