Hi If you mean the light in the bottom right corner of the dash (amber) then it is just a service reminder to change your oil> It just need to be reset To do this turn the key on without the engine running and push the gas pedal 3 times within 5 secs....wait a few seconds and the oil light will flash....turn the key off for 10 seconds and the light should be reset ....meaning when you start the car it will go out right away....Good luck My 2003 L-200 has a red oil button in the fuse box under the hood. I turn the key on hold the button down for 5 - 10 seconds, release oil light will blink, then turn the key off and it is reset.
