With pressures set and having driven the car the light should go out by itself, if not service is required. courtesy of www.TheProwlerStore.com
To reset it simply check the air in the tires (check the spare also as some vehicles will pop the low tire light when the spare is low) and fill to the proper pressure. If that does not fix it then one of the tire sensors is probably bad.
2001chevy veture tire pressure
on the side of the tire it will tell you the max pressure
The tire pressure depends on the tire type. Most passenger types are 32 pounds of air, but look on the sidewall of the tire. There will be a stamp in the side showing the proper air for that tire.
If you open up the fuel door the tire psi information is in there. I have a 2001 VW Beetle and my tire psi should be between "28 to a MAX of 38 psi.
What sensors??? Tire pressure sensors? You can reset the tire pressure sensors through the instrument cluster
32 PSI
30 psi
The cold tire pressure should be 32psi/220kPa and that's for both the front and rear tires.
Never go by the tire pressure on the tire. That is only the maximum amount. Always go by the tire placard on the inside driverside door frame.
there should be a sticker on the door jam of your car (if not check the manual) of what the manufacturer recommended tire pressure.
