Manufacturer label on door will tell you.
check your vin, if the eighth digit/letter is "p" then the car came with the lt1 engine and therefore would be a z28
look at the vin i think the hood on a 91 rs only came smooth. didnt have louvers/blisters or anything like that. also i think the z28 was the only one available with the raised spoiler. but like he said, the vin is the best way to tell. oh and if it has a TPI(Tuned Port Injection), its a z28.

Yes, they did iroc and Z28's are a little different, but i have just a regular Z28 most iroc's a tombport as regular Z28's do not.
