I have the same vehicle and same problem. I was told you can remove it by sliding a slim tool down into the support hole and suppress the release or unzip the cover on the lower back of the seat, reach up in the seat with a screwdriver and do it that way. I've had no luck with either, but you can take it to a upholstery shop and they will most likely do it for free.
They just pull straight up. Mine were hard to pull out. No fancy catches.
Not directly, it will take a lot of modification, time and effort to achieve that swap.
you can take oil and put it where you suspect there to be a vacuum leak. If there is a leak the oil will be pulled into the engine or hose
5W-20 ( according to the 2001 Ford Mustang Owner Guide )
Not sure if it's different from the 2008, but on mine there's a button on one side, and on the opposite side there's a small hole. Take a wire coat hanger or small Allen wrench and push it into the hole while pressing the button. Pop the headrest off and flip it around, or toss the headrests in the trunk like I did. :)
The 2006 Ford Mustang V8 engine take 6.0qts of oil
take it to a mechanic
With oil and filter change it takes 5 qts. with just oil change and not filter 4 qts.
take it to a mechanic
take it to the dealer
Don't try it.
