Cavaler with the two piece dash are a bit of a joy. remove pannale holding fuse cover and remove one #2 Philips, remove pannal on opposite side and remove required screws. Open glove box and remove three more screws along top edge. Look deeper in the glove box just to the left of the center and you will see two more larger bolts in a steel bracket, remove NOTE these hold the passanger side of the dash in place during airbag deployment ---THEY MUST BE REINSTALLED WHEN DONE or the dash will will be pushed off if airbag deploys!!! Go to the windshild heater vent and remove Philips in the center of the edge closest to you. Remove heater grill by pulling up on edge closest to you, two clips hold in that edge and three slide edges hold in edge closest to front of car. Under the grill you will find two more screws, one on ether side. All this will allow you to remove the entire upper dash pannal. Now remove some more screws from upper edge of remaining pannel (can't remember if it is three or four) and the rest of the pannel is held by clips, firm pulls to remove. Now the CD player is exposed...Have fun.
