How do you start a 2012 Chevy Impala with the remote?

(Remote Start): This is TOP button

on the RKE transmitter (key fob) if you

have remote start.

To start the vehicle using the remote

start feature:

1. Aim the transmitter at the vehicle.

2. Press and release the door lock button.

3, Then immediately press and hold the

Remote Start Button for 2 to 4 seconds

or until the vehicles turn signal lamps flash.

The doors will lock and when the vehicle

starts, the parking lights turn on and remain

on while the engine is running.

Option turned on in the Driver Information

Center - or it will not work - see your

Owners Manual.)
