It is very easy to reset the oil light after you had an oil change in your 2011 Ford E350. You will just need to disconnect the battery for up to 1 minute to reset the light.

Turn the key to "on" but do not start the engine. Push the gas pedal to the floor 3 times in quick succesion. The change oil will flash 3 times to let you know it has reset.
Turn the key to the on position but do not start press the gas pedal 3 times within 10 seconds and the oil change light will flash 3 times and go out. now it is reset
Engine Off, Key to Run position, depress and release gas pedal 3 times within 5 seconds. Only do this after changing the oil. Don't worry so much about 3,000 miles, the Silverado will calculate when to change your oil next based on miles and driving conditions. This only works if you only reset the oil light soon after changing the oil.
key on engine off press accelerator pedal to the floor five times very rapidly should reset
turn the key to the run position and slowly pump the gas pedel 3 times and it will reset. Thanks JLamond219
You change the 2008 silverado oil transmission whenever you take it for service.
On my 2003 silverado I turn the key to the on position and press the gas pedel all the way to the floor 3 times. On the dash it will pop up the message "change oil" then it will pop up the message "oil life rest".
the tech that changed the oil should have reset the indicator when the service was performed. I believe this is done with a scan tool but not positive
