I too have a Saturn ls2 2000. The car can be programed to the remote by turnning the key on and off a certain number of times (and some say holding down the un-lock button while doing so) will put the car's remote receiver in program mode. Then up to 4 remotes may be use by pushing the lock or unlock buttons on each remote. I'm sorry the directions are not exact but that's why I'm here, looking for the exact instructions.
keyless entry must be programmed using a tech 2 scan tool by the dealer If you look in the owners manual there are a few things you can do but if you are replacing both fob's you need a scan tool
