On passenger side of van the top radiator hose is clamped over what some people call a gooseneck on top of motor. Remove clamp. Pull off the hose. There are 2 bolts that hold the gooseneck in. Take out the 2 bolts and take the gooseneck out.
The thermostat is right there. Underneath, it will probably be stuck into position use a pair of pliars and gently pull and twist on the top of the thermostat and it should pop out of place with a minimum of effort.
*Important* Remember how your thermostat is installed for you get the new one in the right way. be very carefull when you remove those 2 bolts they have a habit of breaking off and are very difficult to drill out inthe aluminum housing

If you know where the intake manifold is, you will find the thermostat housing under it after taking the manifold off. You could also follow the upper radiator hose to your thermostat housing.
