I have a 93 sunbird. The thermostat is located right under the radiator cap. Wait for the car to cool down. remove the radiator cap. you will see an aluminum bar pull the bar out and that is your thermostat. top off the coolant before installing the new thermostat. put the new thermostat in. push on it a little bit to make sure you get a good seal and then replace the radiator cap. That is all there is to it. the thermostat on these cars is really easy to change and i have done it several times.
Where is the thermostat
Most thermostats are located in the thermostat housing which is at the lower end of the large top radiator hose.
If it is broken they cannot be repaired. You need to replace it.
you undo the tire housing and pull off the exaust manifold. replace the muffler fluid and then your done
I'm kind of wondering why you want to replace the column? It's a pretty big job, I'd imagine.
yes the sunbird is front wheel drive
Spring down.

The bulb itself is removed by unscrewing it from behind the lense under the hood.I hope this helps you. Mark
