Follow the upper radiator hose down to the engine. It is attachedto the thermostat housing . Therewill be two bolts attaching the housing to the engine. Remove thesebolts, and with a little effort (prying),the housing will come off. Therewill probably be brackets, wires,or other items which will have Tobe removed in order to get to the bolts.Installation is just the reverse, and be careful you don't get the bolts tootight.
This can be a tricky process. Unless you have some experience with vehicles, it might be best to leave to the professionals.
Passenger side (front of the motor) in the middle. Just above the water pump. Must remove cover and harmonic balancer to install. Very difficult.
What is the motor size? Run1
On the firewall behind the intake. PITA to get to or even see for that matter
You don't, you replace or rebuild the engine.
Replace the transmission computer. Located under the center console.
The water pump just below the top timing belt cover, right side of the vehicle. Not much space to work in, but I just replaced one while I was replacing the timing belt. To the left of the water pump is the thermostat housing; where your engines thermostat is located. I also replace the thermostat while I had the timing covers (top & bottom) removed. Rick
The oil pressure sending unit is located right above the oil filter.
where is the thermostat located in a 1999 Toyota Camry located and how do you replace it.
Remove the water supply hose from the top of your 2000 Mercury Villager thermostat housing. Remove the thermostat housing retaining bolts. The old thermostat will simply lifts out. Drop in the new thermostat and reverse the process.
I would like to answer that but I don't know what a "moniford" is.
You don't as it does not have a cable. You replace the speed sensor instead.
