How do you replace the ignition distributor on a 93 mx6 v6 pics?
You take it to a mechanic. If your asking, you shouldnt be attempting it.
it is inside your distributor.I have 1994 mx3 an my igniter quit, and i had to replace the whole distributor. not cheap.
Not positive on C6 but on my 93, there was a front mount "optispark" ignition module which included a crank position sensor mounted straight on the front of the engine behind the crank pulley. They were vented and notorious for getting damp inside & causing problems since they were optical. At least that was the explanation I heard.
dirty injectors
151 MPH.
On a '93 Corvette, the fuel filter is located on the right (passenger) side frame rail near the far back corner of the engine compartment.
On the top of the bell housing. thats the crank position sensor the cam sensor in a 93 is fixed in the distributor to replace it you need a new distributor
The 93 Beretta does not have a distributor, it has coil packs.
A 1993 Intrepid does not have a distributor cap.A 1993 Intrepid does not have a distributor cap.
OBD1 code 36 is a high res failure. Due to a bad or failing optispark distributor. My 95 has this same code and still runs but the optispark is not sending a signal to the pcm. If I crank the engine for about 7 seconds it will start every time.
For the money a 93 and up 6spd corvette should get you by the z28... off course any year viper or corvette zr1 will do the trick. 93-98 supras too.
