If it is directly below the ignition switch, then you have a problem with the vacuum tubes on the switch assembly. Remove the panels around the switch and see which one is leaking. Replace the tubes. I have a 1985 Mercedes 300D. The oil pressure gauge failed which caused engine oil to leak from under the dash. The car does not have an electric oil pressure sending unit, it has a pipe which is connected to the engine which is oil filled.
It's the red switch on the center console, right in front of the shifter.
There are vacuum lines in your ignition switch. One of them is leaking or had been pulled loose. If the former is the problem, replace the vacuum line.

One can purchase a Canon EOS 300D in the official Canon store website. In addition, one can go to Costco or Walmart to find the Canon EOS 300D to purchase.

My 1983 300D cost over $700. The ignition is encased in hardened steel to prevent theft (and repair)
