I have done this a couple of times. On right side of dash where the heater and fan controls are, at the bottom of that panel are two screws withPhillips heads. Pull two screws and set a side in a place where you don't lose them. then, push up and pull trim panel towards you. Should come out with ease. behind Trim panel should see three mounting screws. then pull cluster out of dash. At the top of the cluster is your fan switch which is mounted by two more screws and a four wire plug attached to it. unplug wire and pull screws and switch should be loose. last, (with care) pull the round knob attached on the front of switch. Reinstall new switch in reverse order and you should be good. Keep in mind, make sure you disconnect the battery before you proceed with switch replacement, and it would be wise to check fuses before to see if that is not the problem. Good luck!
what?
The fan switch is located near the radiator just below the battery. Use the car manual to seek more details on the fan switch.
A bad relay in the fan's circuit could cause this. I have a 94 Hyundai Scoupe and I just had to replace the thermo switch attached at the bottom of the radiator. Had the same problem. Fan wouldn't go off....ever.
replace it or tighten it
Ignition switch. Not the lock, the column mounted ignition switch.
yes just replace the fan clutch assembly
go to autozone.com and look in the online repair manual they have
REMOVE AND REPLACE SWITCH AND CRIMP THE CONNECTOR TO THE SWITCH.
The 1994 Chevrolet Corvette fan relay switch is located in the fuse box. The fuse box can be located in the engine compartment.
Take a look at the back of the blower switch, you may see the plastic electrical connector and wiring melted, if so replace the switch and pigtail. Both are available at many auto parts stores.
no the switch can be independly remove from the back side of the ignition lock
If your referring to the emergency flashers.... it'snactually in the turn signal switch. i have a 94 mercury cougar xr7 and when i bought it the emergency flashers did not work. i in the end i had to replace the entire turn signal switch in the steering column.
