I detail used cars at local dealerships and I have restored many Caravan headlight lenses. I use a product called Crystalenz, it works great and is really easy to use. You DO NOT have to replace the lenses. Check out their website www.crystalenz.com for more info. for removal, see: How do you replace the headlight assembly located on a 1994 Dodge Caravan?
You must replace entire assembly. If your problem is just foggy lenses, you can get lens cleaning solution at auto parts store.
The headlight bulb on a 1996 Jaguar XJ6 is replaced by disconnecting the wiring harness and twisting the bulb assembly. The bulb can then be pulled from the lenses and a new bulb put in place.

Most people would say it can not be done. but if you don't minde playing around with the tail light, I think the Circuit board will come out with the back plate but it will take abit of work prising it off as it is glued on. But then you would have to get an used tail light that has broken lenses and good sockets
What year or chassis is the 525? If it is an e34 (1989-1996) the lenses cannot be easily replaced and involves using a heat gun or to remove old lenses and gluing new ones on. The whole assembly can be replaced but it is not cheap.

Remove the headlight. Consult an owners manual. Or just take your time while disassembling. There is a headlight seal. This seal will deteriorate over time and needs to be replaced. You can Take apart headlight. Clean lenses, dry and replace seal. Take apart headlight. Cleans lenses, dry and use silicone gasket maker. Some people have had good luck with the following. Take apart headlight enough to slip in a silica pack that will absorb any moisture in the headlight area. Just make sure it isn't touching any hot areas. Good Luck
