1) drain the antifreeze out of the radiator.
2) pull the radiator hoses off of the water pump
3) unbold the water pump from the block
4) install the new one the same way you took it off
Note: when putting it back together make sure to replace the gaskets between the block and water pump, and put Permitex #2 on both sides of the gaskets

If there is fuel in the tank and it is making it's way to the fuel pump, and the fuel pump will not pump fuel, the pump is obviously defective. Replace the fuel pump with a new one.
