Front wheel drive: Jack up the car and put on stands. Block the rear wheels. remove wheel remove caliper and suspend from frame work do not let it hang there. Remove axle nut. Remove nut and bust loose lower ball joint. Move spindle out of the way and pull axle assembly from the transmission. Buy replacement axle and reverse above procedure
