Check the fuses first
To repair a seat heater on a 2004 Buick LeSabre, disconnect the connector and check for voltage. If there is no voltage, replace the switch. If there is voltage, check for an open circuit.

Toyota has issued a technical service bulletin for seat heater replacement. It seems that this is not an uncommon problem. The seat heater has been redesigned. light out on the seat heater switch on passenger side. High low indicator is ok. How do you replace bulb?

the fan control is on the left side of the heater control assembly, center of the dash. the resistor block which is probably what your asking about is above the front seat passengers feet behind the hush panel.
you need to check the resistance of the seat heater elment. each seat has an upper and lower element. your probably going to find an open heater element ckt. gm master tech
