Drain the water from the radiator. Remove the radiator hoses. Remove the radiator stabilizer arm. Remove the radiator retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new radiator.
It is located under the housing at the engine end of the lower radiator hose.
the thermostat on a lhs 3.5 is under the alternator in the bottom radiator hose fitting. it is pretty easy from the top. remove upper rad sup./remove alt./ disc. bot. rad hose/ect.. always drain goolant / pet cock pass-side of rad.
Or remove lower radiator hose
There is not one you have to remove the lower rad hose to drain.I know because I have one.
You have to remove the upper headers and it should be there toward the radiator and the fuel rail
Drain the water from your Mazda Protege radiator. Remove the hoses from your radiator. Remove the radiator stabilizing arm. Remove the radiator retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new radiator.
The radiator cap is located on top of the radiator.
Should be at the bottom or rear of radiator or remove lower radiator hose
A 1997 LHS' air conditioning condenser is attached to the front of the radiator mesh. It is best to remove the radiator and condenser simultaneously.Charged A.C. systems can be dangerous if unfamiliar with them, safety is a major concern as the system should be completely empty of any refrigerant and the radiator drained as well. Best if handled by experienced or professionally trained mechanics.
Drain the radiator, disconnect the hoses from the radiator, remove any shrouds over the top of the radiator, unbolt the radiator, and pull up.
Don't know off hand but you could always pull the lower radiator hose and drain it that way.
