Mine is white in color.

i just disconnected the lower hose
beneath the radiator cap. the upper radiator hose goes to the housing with the radiator cap on it. take off that housing and the thermostat is there.
On the bottom corner of the radiator is drain plug. With the engine cold. remove the top radiator cap and remove the bottom drain plug. Be sure to put a large pan underneath to collect the old fluid.

I believe you add at the engine coolant reservoir , and that the thread on cap is the " rad " cap
On my '99 CVPI, it's on the overflow/fill tank that is attached to the radiator. The cap looks nothing like the old "radiator caps" from the 60s, 70's and 80's - it's plastic!
Yes, you do have to remove the door panel on a 99 Lumina in order to change the driver's side mirror. To do this you will have to remove the screws holding the panel in place. There will also be clips that can be removed. Pull the door panel carefully away once these items are removed.
