I'm not sure if you have to remove the fan shroud, look at it, to see.Put a square stemmed screwdriver between the bolts and loosen the other one, relocate the screwdriver until all bolts are loosened then remove the bolts.Sometimes the fan is still stuck on the water pump and must be tapped off, careful, don't want to damage your radiator. They make a special wrench to remove the fan. If you are going to replace the water pump then you can use a long chisel and hamer to strack the fan nut to loosen it up. And then spen it off. When you put it back on, tighten it by hand. Then hit it easy with hammer and chisel to tighten it a little. Do not hit it hard or you will damage the new pump. When you start the engine, It will tighten itself by the force of the engine turning the fan. TRUST ME.
