you first must remove the cover that is covering the window switches.
you can due so by sticking a small flat head screwdriver under the panel
toward the front of the panel then pry off the cover gently the back end should
slide forward dont try to start at the back because that is not a clip there
that part of the panel just needs to be slide forward to come out,
you should have acces to the door lever there is a screw in there that is holding a
ground wire and holding the whole door panel on after you remove that screw you
should be able to lift the whole door panel off. Good luck
there is also a screw behind the lens of the door panel light. pry the lens off gently with a flat blade screwdriver and remove the screw.
lift up and towards you to release the panel, once it is free, there is a disconnect for the panel light and the power window/lock panel will slip through the opening.

Remove the door panel.
To remove the door panel you will need to find and remove all screws. Once you have taken out the screws you will need to gently pull the panel away from the door.
On a 1995 Chevrolet Caprice your door panel and window switch are two different parts. To remove the door panel you remove the 8 screws along the outer edge of the door and then pull the panel off. to take the switch off there are 4 more screws on the back of the panel you remove
you got to drill out the rivets from the outside and that's about it then there is a clip on the inside that you need to unhook to do that you need to remove the door panel that's it
You have to remove the door panel...not easy, but do-able. Once that is off you can remove the door handle and replace it.
