you have to remove the turn signal light and some of the trim (grill) to get to the screws that hold the light assembly in place. 10 minute job.
remove front headlight assembly to get at horn,it is down below light assembly..
Remove the headlight assembly to gain access to the bulbs.

Open the hood. Remove the black plastic cover that goes across the top of the headlights/radiator. Remove the two silver screws that are on the top of the headlight assembly. Then remove the light housing...Not much holding them on.
Remove the tail light assembly (as I recall, it attaches with a couple of screws and is clipped to the body). Remove the bulb holder, replace the bulb, reassemble.
I have 1998, 2002 may be similar. Mine has 2 screws on top of lens assembly. Open the rear hatch, remove 2 screws, pull assembly out. Access bulbs from the rear by twisting sockets out of lens assembly. Probably bulb #1157 for tail brake light
Raise the hatch & there are 2 tail light assemble mount screws...remove screws to remove the entire assembly. Look on the back side & remove the bulb that needs to be relaced
Remove the wiring harness from the back of the headlight. Remove the headlight assembly bolts. The headlight assembly will come out.
Remove bolt on top of headlamp assembly. Gently pry and pull assembly straight out. Bulb can now be acessed.
to get in to the rear light panel open rear hatch on the in where the light are is a platic cover with two to three scrwes undo it light housing come out
Open the trunk or hatch, remove the 2 screws. There are 2 friction posts (towards the outside of the assembly) still holding the assembly on. With gradually increasing force, work the tail light assembly straight out towards the rear.
