The front wheel bearing is a sealed unit with the wheel hub - replace the hub and wheel bearing unit. Remove the four bolts from the rear of the steering knuckle that connect to the hub bearing unit.
Remove wheel then remove the big nut that holds the axle to the hub. Remove the brake caliper and rotor, through the hole in the face of the hub(where the wheel studs are) remove bolts that hold the hub and bearing to the steering knuckle. Tap hub and bearing assy from knuckle. The hub and bearing is one part.

The frontdoes not havea "wheel hub assembly". It is an individual sealed roller bearing that has to be pressed on and off the front spindle. It is a Toyota thing!
beat it off with a rubber mallet or get hub puller at part store
Remove wheel. Remove grease cup. Remove caliper & secure it so it does not interfere with spindle. Remove brake disc. Remove hub nut. Remove hub & bearing assembly. Use a two jaw pulley to remove hub if you can't do it by hand. Reverse procedure to install.
With the 98 Durango safely lifted, remove the front wheel. Remove the locking hub. The hub removal is different depending on the hub type. Remove the brake caliper. Remove the axle nut, and slide off the bearing housing. The inner and outer bearings and races should be replaced.
Remove the wheel, remove the brake caliper, remove the brake rotor, disconnect wheel speed sensor from harness. remove the bearing hub, remove the wheel speed sensor from the bearing hub. Reverse order for install.
The complete hub and rotor assembly have to be removed in order to drive out wheel studs to separate the rotor from the hub. So, remove wheel, remove caliper, remove caliper bracket, remove axle retaining nut, remove 4 bolts holding hub assembly to spindle, dissconnect ABS sensor harness, remove hub assembly, remove all wheel studs then separate rotor from hub.
