How do you remove dashboard dodge ram 2002?

Wait another couple of months and the remainder of the dash will crumble in to millions of daggerlike pieces and fall out. Then replace at your leisure. At least this is what is happenning to my POS dash.

haha good one and very true you could wait a couple months. If its the part of the dash that surrounds the gauges you just need to get something in the space between the rest of the dash and then pry it off, i personally just yanked on mine and it came off, its only held in by a few retaining clips and pops back on just as easy AND just a F.Y.I. to anyone who reads this and owns a Dodge ram it is apparently a VERY common problem for other dodge ram owners to have their dashboards fall apart and crack, just Google your year truck, dodge ram 1500,2500 etc and complaints and it should show you other common problems to look forward to.I have a 2001 ram 1500 and my dash is cracked and i even have a carpeted dash cover on it but it still got torn up, il be fiber glassing it personally and hopefully that fixes it.

Option 2 - Apply the "Large" "All purpose tool" ( sledge hammer). When dash is fully "removed"...proceed to rest of vehicle. When fully disassembled, deposit entire dodge dud in junkyard, where it belongs. :)

Now to add to the comments - The 2002 Dash TOP has 2 pieces - the main top/front cover, and a more narrow back stip about 6" wide. The back(near windsheild) 6" piece can be pryed up with a screwdriver - it is held only by clips. If it is like many dodge, it will come out in pieces as it has already cracked in numerous places.

The main dashboard top cover is a much bigger deal to remove. Get ready for heavy disassembly to do this right. Remove the radio cover (front center area of dash) by removing the hidden screw above the coin holder to lower right of radio - looks like a hook. Then the screws holding the dash piece under the steering column. Work you way along the sides and top Left to Right and pop off the dash. Unplug the numerous wires running to this front faceplate and all its knobs and switches. Note some plugs are "squeeze to open" and some are "Pry back the tab" type plugs.

There are numerous screws and clips along the front edge, as well as other panels (like instrument cluster surround, glovebox, etc.).

Once you get all this off you will find the Air ducts are still screwed to the dash cover from behind....and when I figure out how to remove those, I'll let ya know. Probably with a small box end wrench and contorting my body to reach these.
