You will need info later. Now remove wheel and put a floor jack under the lower control arm close to the ball joint. Now take the nut off the lower ball joint, Now raise the hub assy. and rotor up and off the lower ball joint and wedge a block of wood in some were to hold it in place, out of the way. You will have to remove bottom bolt in the shock. Now remove the torsion bar adjusting bolt, and count the rest of the turns it takes to remove the bolt and add that to your first count, and record it. When putting bolt back in later, TURN BOLT SAME # OF TURNS BACK IN THAT YOU RECORDED EARLYER Now remove lower control arm bolts and mark the torsion bar were it goes into the lower control arm, remove control arm and torsion bar at the same time as a unit. Lay on floor and slide bar out.

If you look at the end of the bars towards the rear you will see a crossmember that thay are in . look at the crossmember and you will see a bolt head that is in a bracket that is right beside the end of the bars, that is the adjustment bolt for the torsions bars.
5,700 cc
to remove the battery in the 95 grand prix you have to remove the the cross member bar(i think a 7/16 socket will fit the bolts) that is above the windshild wiper fluid bottle and battery once you remove the bar then remove the windshield wiper fluid bottle, after that you can remove the battery i also have a 95 grand prix and had to remove the battery twice before and that is what i had to do to get to the battery.

To change the starter on a GMC Jimmy 95 you must look under the truck and locate the starter. There will be a bar in the way of removing the starter. You will have to remove the two screws and manuver the starter around the bar. This will be tricky so take your time. Once you remove the starter replace with the new one and manuver back in place screw in and your done.
Yes thay are the same.
