How do change a light on a steering column in a 2006 chevy truck?
turn the key to the on position then pump the accelarator 3 times then turn the key off then start ur truck
Turn the key to the 'on' position (do not start the truck).Wait for the change oil light to come on.Tap the gas pedal 5 times.Move key to off position, move key back to on position. The change oil light should be reset.
I think it's preset to come on when your milage hits a certain point, probably from last time it was reset.
YES it does.
bring the truck to autozone and let them reset it with their scn tool for free.
most likely needs and oil change or you didn't reset the oil change light after you got an oil change. The truck has a standard that automatically cuts on the oil light either when the oil is low or you have driving a certain distant and not had an oil change. Also if you have had an oil change recently and didn't reset the oil indicator than it doesn't recognize that you did get an oil change. To reset oil indicator all you do is turn the key to the run position (two click, do not start truck) then pump the gas pedal all the way to the floor three times the oil light should flash then go off.
That truck DON'T have a reset button. Chevy didn't use them on there trucks.
For any new truck you may have to have the computer reset you can find one at Wal mart for 98$ plus tax or order on off the web. It reads what the truck problems are .
I have a 2006 Chevrolet C4500 Duramax Diesel and I would like to know how to turn off or reset the check engine light on the truck.
There is no such thing as a 310 Chevy truck.
It is quite simple to change the brake light switch on your 1998 Chevy S 10 pickup truck. The brake light switch simply plugs in and out.
