2005 jeep liberty 4wd 3.7l how to change diff.oil
No... The Liberty is by default a rear wheel drive SUV with the option of connect the front axle to change to a 4WD mode.
yes
I actually had to hit the 4WD shifter to get it from 4WD HI to OFF.
The lug pattern for the Jeep Liberty (2002-2008) including Sport and 4WD models is: 5 on 4.5in (5 X 114.3mm) with 1/2 RH lug nuts This is the same as found on Wrangler TJ/LJ, Cherokee XJ, Commanche MJ, Wrangler YJ, Grand Cherokee ZJ, Liberty KJ For model years/letters see Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeep Stephen Cobb Roseboom, NY
To engage 4 wheel drive on the Jeep Liberty Sport simply move the handle on the center console that has the letters 4H, 2H, N, and 4L. For driving in snow 4H is the gear to use. Put the car in to 4 wheel drive while driving very slowly.
No. The 3.7l has a timing chain.
AnswerI have the same issue with my '03 Jeep Liberty Renegade. I let a mechanic look at it... it seems there's some sort of sensor to be replaced. Expensive! I'm not mechanically inclined and will not be able to install this myself. It must be a "Jeep" thing : )
Not sure what a 2x2 Jeep is, but the 2wd and 4wd Cherokees are good vehicles.
