The only way to do this is to lie down on your back on the ground and slide yourself under the front of your car. If you look up under the car you should be able to see the latch that grabs and holds the hood down. Look at the latch and look for a (Black) plastic coated cable (Like the cable for bicycle brakes) and grab this with a heavy pair of pliers or Vise-Grips and pull.
