The official method of doing so is by first removing the back seat, then the trim which goes from the bottom of the doorwells to the ceiling, then you are supposed to remove the plastic panels between where the trim was and the rear windshield. Now you would remove the panel covering the speakers, from here it's easy, just unscrew the speakers. I managed to simply remove the plastic panels between the rear windshield and door, and removing the panel over the speakers with only some difficulty. I have also heard that people have had luck by simply unscrewing the speakers from the trunk with a pliers or something of the like.
