since there's no engine given i will give you both.
if it is the tbi its very simple. you take off the air cleaner, get your set of torx bits out. take off the wire harness in the middle of the two injectors by pinching the two tabs, pulling and wiggling. then remove the two torx screws on each of the injectors, remove them, do the opposite to install. very important!!!!--those little screws are delicate. tighten them as if they were plastic. snug is good enough.
if it is a vortec engine, you have more work. there are many things to be removed in this procedure. if you are decent with a wrench you can handle this. i will give shot instructions for this.
remove the upper intake-ten or twelve 10mm bolts. once you have it off there will be what GM calls the injector set. it has six little hoses that gently clip into the lower intake. all six hoses originate in the cent of the intake at the fuel pressure regulator. this IS changeable contrary to what many people say. but if you buy the injector kit it should come with a new regulator already attached. there is one screw that holds the whole thing in. gently pull each of the 6 poppets(injectors). they tend to break very easily so be very careful. when you put them back in make absolutely sure that you coat the rubber gaskets on the poppets(injectors) with sil-glide, or another silicone clear grease. you could even use dielectric grease if you must. not doing so will ensure that you only get about a year out of your timely repair.
The 4.3L engine has two fuel injectors located in the throttle body.
Remove pressure from the fuel system. Remove fuel lines and the rails. Get a fuel injector puller to avoid the risk of damaging the injector. Remove the old injector and replace it.
Yes, this is a fuel injected engine.
the fuel injectors are located under that big plastic thing on top of the motor .
depends on how many cylinders the motor has and if it is fuel injected.
Fuel pump NG
Fuel injectors need to be replaced every so often. If the fuel injectors are not working, they may be too old, and need to be replaced or put in properly.
67 chevelle's never had fuel injectors, they had a carburetor.
Injectors are clogged
One for each cylinder
take fuel rail off unplug injectors from wiring harness pull out injectors make sure you get all the rubber o rings out of the intake manifold and fuel rail reverse for install
the injector spider is under the plastic plenium on top of the engine
