To install a distributor on a 1996 Fleetwood Brougham, start by ensuring the engine is at top dead center (TDC) on the compression stroke for cylinder number one. Align the rotor with the mark on the distributor housing for cylinder number one. Insert the distributor into the engine block, making sure the rotor engages with the camshaft gear. Secure the distributor in place with the hold-down clamp and reconnect the spark plug wires according to the firing order.
Well, honey, first you gotta locate the distributor by the engine block, then you line up the rotor with the mark on the engine. After that, you slide the distributor into place and tighten the bolts. Finally, reconnect all the wires and pray that your Caddy starts up like a charm. Good luck, sweetheart!
Oh, dude, installing a distributor on a 1996 Fleetwood Brougham is like trying to assemble a puzzle without the picture on the box. First, you gotta make sure the engine is at top dead center, then drop in the distributor with the rotor pointing to the number one spark plug wire. Finally, tighten it down and connect all the wires. Easy peasy, right?
The standard Fleetwood did not include seat heaters, however the Brougham option package did. This was consistent from 1993-1996.

I removed the distributor in my 96 gmc yukon but I forgot to mark it before removing it.What do I need to do to get it back in.
There was no '96 Fleetwood 2 door.
If it has a distributor it doesnt have a crank position sensor. The magnetic pickup in the distributor is what you would be looking for. The module is either on the side of the distributor or on the firewall against the drivers inner fender.

what is the distributor setting for a 1996 Chevy blazer
The distributor cap is located on the top of the distributor on a 1996 Sunfire. It is connected to the spark plugs via a wire.
undo the hold down screws and pull off, replace the rotor and install the new cap and then transfer plug wires one at a time to the proper location on the new cap.
I have a 98 Suburban with the 5.7 vortec V8. The cam sensor is in the distributor. Remove the cap and rotor to get to the sensor. Hope this helps.
There are two screws that hold it to the distributor.
Cadillac holds the record for the largest regular production vehicle; the Fleetwood Sixty Special/ Talisman/ Brougham, which was produced from 1946 to 1996. Currently, the Rolls Royce Phantom is the largest car being built, but I would not consider it regular production, and in some instances it is referred to as a limousine.
