Remove the positive battery cable from your 1997 Chevy Blazer battery. Remove the cables from the front of your starter. Remove the starter retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new starter.
The 1997 Chevy Blazer shifter cable will have swivel nuts on each end of the cable. Connect the shifter cable and turn the swivel nuts to the right to install the shifter cable.
Disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery.
Remove the ground cable. Remove the support arms that are in the way.Remove the positive cable. Take a ratchet,a 12" extension, and a 13mm socket and remove the holdown fixture located at the bottom of the battery. Install new battery. Reverse procedure. Done.
disconnect the 91 blazer cables at the battery. One at a time, disconnect the cable at the opposite end, then pull it out. Put the new cable in, routing it the same way, then connect the non battery end. do the same for the other cable, then connect the cables to the battery.
It is attached to the starter. The positive battery cable runs directly to it.
Remove the old battery, disconnect the negative cable first and install the new battery connect the negative cable last.
usually on the rear lower end of engine--follow + battery cable
Should be on top of the starter - follow the + battery cable
The 1996 Chevrolet Blazer shifting cable will have a retaining nut on each end of the cable. Loosen the retaining nuts. Remove the cable routing retainers. Reverse the process to install the new cable.
Follow the positive battery cable from the battery down, the other end will be attached to the starter.
