The fule pump is on top of the fuel tank. There are two ways to get to the fuel pump. One is to release the straps holding the tank in place. The second is to remove the box (8 bolts on the long bed) I prefer this method in the driveway. You need 4 strong friends. Remove the electrical connector and fuel lines from the pump. The fuel pump is retained by a locking ring. Rotate this ring and it will release the pump assembly. Lift the pump assembly out of the tank and put the new one in and follow the reverse order for reassembly. ( Note there is an electrical connector you must release in order to lift the box off. You must reconnect this before the new pump will operate.) BE CAREFUL NOT TO GET ANY DIRT INTO THE TANK.
