∙ 16y agoIt is located on the bottom right hand side of the radiator.
The radiator drain plug on a 2000 Chevy Venture is removed by slowly turning it in a counter-clockwise direction. Care must be taken when re-installing the plug to prevent cross threading.
Locate the plug on the bottom of the radiator to drain it. Put some radiator cleaner in and drain it again.
It is located on the driver's side of the radiator in the lower corner. It is plastic and green in color. Mike

bottom of the radiator on the drivers side is a plug. It takes an Allen wrench to open and the antifreeze will drain through the hole just below it on my 2003mit a wing nut On the bottom of the radiator on the drivers side is a plastic wing nut you will have to do it by hand you cant get a pair of pliers in there to losen it and when you put it back on just hand tightn it
The drain plug is just below the lower radiator hose.

The 2000 Chevrolet Venture is front-wheel drive and shouldn't have a fan clutch. The fans are electric.
