You have to drop the oil pan. then take the truck and drive it off a cliff. Go by a Chevy
On the back of the pan.
Drain the oil from the oil pan. Remove the oil pan. Unbolt the old oil pump. Reverse the process to install the new oil pump.
the oil pan is on the bottom of the engine.
drop cross bar under car and the headers and maybe one more hanger then u can take oil pan off
In the bottom of the oil pan, some older models have a front & rear drain plug
Remove the tranny oil pan and you'll see it.
Bottom of the oil pan.
Drain the oil from your oil pan. Remove the oil pan bolts. There are 24 oil pan bolts. The oil pan will come off.
the oil pan is on the very bottom of the engine between the front wheels
Raise and support the front of the car. Remove the crossmember and downpipe. There is a cover for the transmission - remove that too. Remove all the 10mm bolts around the oil pan. Pull the oil pan off. Replace. Don't forget to drain the oil first!
It is in the bottom of the oil pan, And the oil pan is bolted to the very bottom of the engine.
