Pretty simple actually, first of all remove all the retaining screws there are approx 6-8 with a phillips screwdriver, trick no 1, door handle there is a plactic insert in the middle remove it and there is a screw behind it, remove the metal grill that covers the speaker in the door, you will find 3 screws hidden in the panel remove them, ok now, with all screws removed the door handle has a plastic lock on the insert itself remove it by prying carefully outward and then twist it, if it breaks (you can replace it thru a parts store) it retains the lock rod in place, very carefully pry up on the window switch and remove it then unplug it, follow the rest of the wires ie speaker, door courtesy light, auto locks, make sure you unplug all the wires the door panel will not come off, and out of the way, if you dont, next remove the 3 screws at the very bottom of the door panel after this pry out on the panel and lift up to remove it, there may or may not be a rubber shield covering the entire area, if so remove it, it has black pliable rubber from the factory that can be re-used, also remove it, isknown as adoor sound deadner, with all this out of the way you are ready to fix your window, roll the window down approx 1/2 way and you will see 2 clamps that hold the window into the track with 2 10mm nuts, determine which retainer is bad remove both nuts and push the track out of the way, very carefully lift the window out of the track and pull up and out to remove it completely from the door, ok, now with window out on the bench, you will have to (very carefully) unseat the retainer from the glass, do this by using a thin bladed knife or razor knife, take your time it is sealed with non pliable calk and it can be difficult, to remove, take a piece of wood with a hammer and drive the clip off the glass, taking extreme care not to strike the glass, then install the new retainer , make sure you crimp the bracket a little tight and then redrive it back into place very easy, then re install the window back in the door, line the window in its tracks and let it back down (gently) till it goes to where you removed it from, align the 2 studs up and install nuts , test window up and down before putting everthing back

the Builder's track -Can we fix it?- became number one in the UK charts in 2000
First you need to take the handles and door panel off. Then you need to see whether the window has jumped off the track or if the track has come apart or is broken. If it has jumped the track, put some silicone caulk in the track and set the window back in. Make sure the track is in the down position. After replacing the window in the track, roll it all the way up and leve it for a few hours. If the track has broken, you will neew to find out where it is broken and fix or replace it.
