Which brand, which side steps? Depending on the vehicle it could be hooked to the pinch wells, frame, or body. On a cherokee it will probably hook to the frame rails under the body. If you Jeep isn't lifted you might want to avoid putting the steps on since the body is already low to the ground and the steps may get in the way more then help. If you have a specific brand and product you plan on using that would help me tell you how to install them.
