I need to disconnect horn on 1198 Plymouth voyager. My wife to car to shop because would not stop they sain they dissonected horn but when she got home went on and off till she turn off car TY
This is a joke right? If it's not, then the answer is "Call your mechanic because you really shouldn't be working on your own car!" You could simply remove the horn relay
You can do this one of two ways. The first and easy way to do this would be to remove the horn panel on you steering wheel and disconnect the clips from the horn button but b sure to use electrical tape so they do not touch each other. Or the second way would be to climb under the car and disconnect the wires from the horn itself.
On the right side of the car under the bumper is where you should find the horn. Then all you have to do is disconnect the electrical connector and pop on the bolt. Then reinstall in reverse order.
you can remove the horn relay in the fuse box.
THE HORN DOED NOT HAVE A FUSE IT HAS A RELAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I STILL NEED THE HORN WHILE DRIVING THE CAR> I shall try the dealer. Remove the fuse. The first responder was not referring to the horn fuse, they were referring to the alarm fuse.
Disconnect horns, disconnect battery, disconnect relay, disconnect fuse .........................................or repair problem.
well you can start by pulling the fuse out for the horn or in the front under the hood near the radiator u can unplug the conecter . Tried that, didn't disconnect the horn.
How do I disconnect the horn on my 2000 Dodge Stratus? Everytime I turn the wheel, as of last evening, it goes off!
You just pull out the Horn relay/fuse.
