Under the hood, find the automatic Transmission Fluid pipe. Consult your owner's manual if you do not know where this is. Pull out the dipstick and wipe it clean. Reinsert the dipstick and pull it out to check the fluid level. The fluid should be at the "full" line.
How do you check the transmission oil level on a BF XR6 5 speed automatic gearbox
You cant! They are a sealed unit. IF its playing up you need to get it serviced if not they are service free
There should be a dip stick at the back of the motor. But only if its automatic
The manufacturer recommends 10W-30 weight oil for the 2005 Ford Falcon. A heavier oil can be used in extreme climates.
After service, an EA Falcon will typically take approximately 15 liters of transmission oil. However, it will vary depending on the amount of oil that was already in the transmission before service.
You can check the motor oil or the transmission fluid.
it should take a 5w/30 grade oil for the bf model falcon
five
You cant, it is done by mechanic when being serviced. There is not a user friendly solution, I found this out when I was searching for a filler too...
5w/30 grade oil
check transmission fluid level . then check differential oil level also that model ford needed additive in diff oil to stop noise was a ford recall on that
It doesnt have one great idea ford idiots there supposedly is a 13mm plug on the transmission itself under the car so you pretty much have to take your car to and auto transmission place just to put trans oil in as i said before GOOD ONE FORD!!!
