On the top of the engine, close to the firewall you will see a test port connected to the larger of the two fuel lines. You will need a fuel pressure gauge and adapter hose to connect to the test port. Once you are set up with the gauge you turn the ignition on, wait a couple seconds then turn it off. Do this several times to prime the system until the pressure has peaked, then moniter the pressure reading. That vehicle requires 60 to 66 psi to run properly.
Fuel pressure test.
60 to 66 psi
60-66 psi
Fuel pressure test.
4.3L fuel pressure regulator is under the upper intake manifold. It is attached to the fuel injector bank.
Inadequate fuel pressure. If that 2000 S10 Blazer has a 4.3 engine, it needs 61 to 66 psi (engine off with fuel pump running) to run properly.
Fuel pressure regulator is located under the upper intake cover
Yes, the 2000 Ford Taurus can have fuel pressure but no fire. If the fuel pressure is okay, it is usually important to check the fuel injectors.?æ
i have no i deer sorry....
Several problems can cause a 1999 Blazer not to start. There could be a fuel problem or a firing problem. Check for fuel pressure and ignition spark first.
connect a fuel pressure gauge to the port at the back. turn key on and check for pressure, watch for pressure drop if it drops immediately regulator is leaking.on4.3 reulator is under upper intake plenum
The 4.3L, 60 to 66 psi. The 2.2L, 41 to 47 psi.
