To change the tail lights in a Chevy Celebrity sedan:
1. In the trunk next to the quarter panel are three nuts. Remove the center nut which should line up with the center of the tail light fixture.
2. Pull back on the tail light fixture until the stud clears the body then pull sideways to free the tab from the back up light fixture.
3. Locate the socket on the bulb you want to change and give it a counter clockwise twist to remove it from the fixture.
4. Put the new bulb in the socket and reassemble in the reverse order. I like to replace the nut with a wing nut so that if I need to change a bulb again I don't need a tool to take it off with.

No, there is no access hole for the fuel pump on a 1989 Chevrolet Celebrity. To change the fuel pump or replace the filter "sock" it is necessary to drop the fuel tank out of the car. I have been tempted to make my own access hole but never have.

No other Chevrolet doors will interchange with Celebrity doors. Some other "A" body doors may fit but the lines and mouldings don't line up with the Celebrity body lines. I understand that Pontiac 6000 doors come the closest.
According to my factory service manual the throttle position sensor voltage on a Chevrolet Celebrity should be between 0.5 V and 5.0 volts as it moves through its range of motion.
where is the fuse located at for the radio cigarette lighter and interer lights for an 1989 Chevy celebrity. Look up the fuse chart in the owners manual, and each slot is numbered. I think it's number 12 or 15, and a metal fuse, rather than a colourful plastic one, since the load on the circuit is larger. That's the way it is on an '86 Eurosport.
