first, disconnect neg. battery cable. Remove panel underneath the headlight switch. Pull out the rod, reach behind the switch from underneath, and feel around for a little spring button, when you push this in, you can then pull out the rod. Remove the switch, unscrew the lock nut , unplug the power input, and there you go. Replace the same way. When it comes time to insert the rod, just push it in, it will lock by itself. Connect battery, test. Not a big job, just need small hands..........good luck.
