pull plug wire off plug , unscrew the spark plug , gap the new plug, then screw it in, reattach plug wire. repeat this until all plugs are changed.
That is a terrible description of "how" to change the "rear" plugs on this car. The description above applies to anyone changing a sparkplug on a car.
The rear plugs compared to the front plugs are almost nearly impossible to get to through the top of the motor. Creatively moving a couple brackets and removing the oxygen sensor made it easier.
Well, that's what I thought also. Actually, the 3800 has dog bone motor mounts. You need to detach them from where it connects to the engine and the whole engine leans forward.

Disconnect the battery, remove the spark plug cables and boots, and remove the old spark plugs. Put in the new spark plugs, attach the boots and cables, and connect the battery.
Like most cars with no "spark" it can be caused by faulty/old cables. Replacing them would be a quick and cheap solution if in fact they are the cause.
