Some emgines have the oil pump in the fromt cover. Gat a manual on your car from a parts store or from AUTOREPAIR2000.COM
In the convenience center under the drivers side of the dash.
oil pump is defective and not working.

The oil pump is bolted to the bottom of the engine INSIDE the oil pan
If the system is totally drained, 8 ounces would be sufficient. If you're just replacing the pump, 3 ounces is good.

The oil drain for the engine is located at the lowest point on the bottom of the engine oil pan.
Next to the distributor
you need to remove the transmission then unbolt the clutch from the flywheel.
