It is very easy...
First...remove 2 Phillips screws which hold the lower plastic piece of the steering column...you do not need to remove this piece
Next...remove the top plastic piece...easy plastic clips
Now you see the multifuncton assembly...there are 2 wire connectors that need to be removed...first push back the little red locking clip...then remove the wiring harnesses
Next...remove 2 Torx screws holding the assembly in place...
Install the new assembly and put it all back together...should take about 30 minutes or less

Yes there is. On the 1987 thru 1995 models the switch is located on the left side of the steering column.Its multi function controling the wiper/washer, turn signal and dimmer switch.
