First mark the #1 cylinder position. Then mark exact position of rotor on distributor. Pull distributor out. Reach down with long screwdriver to oil pump shaft turn backwards about 6 degrees then you can drop the distributor back in. Making sure rotor aligns with the exact mark as taken out.
