It should have a bleeder screw on top of the thermostat housing.

The thermstat is on the bottom hose. The flow of water is opposite of most other cars. Don't forget to bleed the cooling system when you fill it back up.

FYI - Auto Recall: 2002 KIA Sportage - Engine and Engine Cooling: Cooling System: Fan. Dealers will replace engine cooling fan with a fan made of improved material - recall began on June 11, 2007.
don't tighten the rad cap all the way, only to the first natch so it is secure but moves like it is loose, will allow air to excape or just normally run the engine as you normally would to heat it up and it will bleed its self
If This Is To Remove Air From Fuel Lines. Forget It. You Do Not Have To Bleed The Fuel Line.
There is a bleed screw on the thermostat housing. Remove the screw with the engine loose. Ounc you have pure coolant and no air you can close off the bleed screw.
