I would check the blinker bulbs on the side that doesn't blink (front & back). If neither side is working,there is a round chrome blinker fuse,located under the dash board close to the fuse box,it's width is about the size of a half dollar. If that doesn't solve your problem,then it most likely will be either in the wiring or the switch. If it is in wiring or switch,I advise you to take it to a mechanic,you do not want to mess with the wiring or switch,you could cause yourself a big headache and pay A LOT more...
First check all your fuses and if that's not it you'll have to trace your wiring ,to make sure their not grounding out.
blowen fuse or lights check fuse first
you may need to replace the flasher relay it should be in the fuse panel
